On the Ropes

2015, Installation. Transparent fishing line, furniture.

To Express his state of anxiety and instability after losing homecountry and home, every item and piece of furniture in the artist live/work studio is suspended 15 cm above the ground on fishing wire. Each length of wire, has a different length, carries a different weight and has a unique resonance as it is plucked and bowed.

Opened to the public, a group of invited musicians perform a concert: Sounds like Precarity.
