Presenting two works, Isomerization and Chemistry, the project reflects on the artist’s experiences during his residence in Denmark, with regards to the complex issue of immigration and integration within the Danish society.
Photos of four immigrant families coming originally from different backgrounds, staged in the same garden, in front of the same house, with the same dog.
200 fresh falafel sandwiches were made daily and wrapped in images of immigrants who live in the Vollsmose suburb. As the audience consume these literal symbols and products of migration, the Danish Flag is slowly revealed and projected onto the wall behind the tables.
